UPNAR (আপনার) operates SIPUI Dialer, an Android application offering internet calling, messaging and optional location-related features. This policy explains the personal information the app may access and process, why it is used, and the choices available to you. The precise data processed depends on the features you enable, permissions you grant and services you use.
1. Information we process
- Account and profile: registration details, user or phone identifiers, account settings and technical authentication information used to provide access to the service.
- Calling: SIP registration details, call participants or identifiers, connection details, call times, duration, status and diagnostic information needed for audio/video calls and call history.
- Messages: message content and related metadata, including sender, recipient and delivery information, when messaging features are used.
- Contacts: contact details that you choose to use or save through the app, including contacts stored with your account where the feature is enabled.
- Camera and microphone: audio and video input when you use calls, voice messages or other recording features. Access is subject to applicable Android permissions.
- Location: precise or approximate device location, timestamps and location history when location features are enabled and the relevant permissions are granted.
- Device and diagnostics: device/network information, IP address, technical logs, error reports and app performance data needed for security, connectivity and troubleshooting.
- Notifications: device notification identifiers or tokens, where required to deliver messages and call alerts.
2. Why we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, connect SIP calls, deliver messages and alerts, display contacts and communication history, provide map and location-history features, maintain service security, prevent misuse and diagnose technical issues. We do not describe location access as necessary for making ordinary audio or video calls.
3. Background location and maps
SIPUI Dialer includes background location functionality. If you enable location tracking and grant the required Android location access, the app may collect location information even when it is not visible on screen or is running in the background. Depending on the app configuration and operating-system restrictions, the information may be transmitted to UPNAR-operated application servers and used to display maps and date-based location history.
You can manage location-related settings within the app where available and change or revoke location permission in Android Settings. Revoking permission prevents the app from obtaining further location through that permission; previously stored location history may remain until deleted under the applicable retention process. Background location access may require a separate Android permission.
4. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, SIPUI Dialer may request access to the microphone, camera, location (including background location), contacts and notifications. You can manage these through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information may be transmitted to infrastructure used to operate SIPUI Dialer, including application, SIP/signalling, message and location services. Communication information is necessarily exchanged with the intended recipients and relevant network or service endpoints to deliver calls and messages. Where the app uses third-party hosting, mapping, notification or diagnostic providers, the data handled by those providers depends on the integration in use. We do not state that data is never shared with third parties; any actual providers and sharing practices must be reflected accurately in the app's Google Play Data safety declaration.
6. Security
We take steps intended to restrict unauthorised access to the services and personal information. However, no system or method of transmission is completely secure. Specific encryption and storage protections depend on the service and connection used; this policy does not claim that all calls, messages or stored data are end-to-end encrypted.
7. Retention and deletion
Account, communications, operational logs and location-history information may be retained while needed to operate the selected services and for legitimate security, support or legal purposes. Retention periods can differ by data type. Users may request information about retained data, correction or deletion by contacting support@sipui.com.
If you wish to delete your SIPUI Dialer account and associated personal data, submit an account deletion request through the available in-app account deletion option, if provided, or email support@sipui.com with the subject “SIPUI Dialer Account Deletion”. We may need to verify account ownership before carrying out a request. Data legally required to be retained may be handled separately to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Your choices
You can decline optional permissions, disable optional location functionality where supported, review applicable Android permission controls and contact us about your personal data. Turning off a permission does not automatically delete information collected earlier.
9. Children's privacy
SIPUI Dialer is not designed specifically for children. If you believe that personal information relating to a child was collected inappropriately, please contact us so we can review the concern.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features and data practices change. The updated version will be published at this page with a revised effective date when appropriate.
